Healing a Broken Heart Made Easy

Let's start by looking at the good things that will come from this. Remember that thing they kept doing that really annoyed you, it will not annoy you anymore. You now have some extra time. You get to hog the bed and all the covers. You get to learn more about you and just how truly awesome you are. Never forget that none of your relationships have a chance to work, until you find "The One" that does. And the difference between that relationship will be infinitely profound. Healing a broken heart is something everyone invited to the concert of life must pass through.

Out of Sight Out of Mind

You need to get this person and everything that reminds you of them out of your home. Your home is now recovery central not a torture chamber for you. Box up everything that is there's or reminds you of them. When you rediscover them five years from now, you will be past the pain and will be able to enjoy the memories. No contact with this person for a minimum of sixty days. If have there stuff to return, send it through a friend, the mail or carrier pigeon. No phone calls, instant messages, or visit them, do not accept or respond to any of them. We need to get them out of your system, detox so to speak.

                                                         Change

A very powerful step to healing a broken heart is to change things around you. Redecorate your home doesn't have to be anything expensive. Things like rearrange you furniture, paint a wall or some new pictures to fill all those those blank spaces from the ones you took down that reminded you of them. This is a very important step these changes will give you new mental cues and induce new feelings about your home without them.

                                            Be Social

Don't sit home alone reconnected with an old friend that is close by. Hopefully someone that who knows a little about your relationship. Nothing like having a living human being to turn to. Healing a broken heart is best done with a friend, do not go it alone Van Gogh did and he mailed his ear to his ex. Go for walks, volunteer, see a movie or catch up on all that reading you have been putting off.
